Norden Joins Northwest Ohio Wind Energy Development Team

Grover Hill, Ohio – September 16, 2009 – Northwest Ohio Wind Energy, LLC, announces the addition of a new field specialist to its community wind development team. Bradley Norden, of Wauseon, OH, will work with landowners and farmers in southern Paulding and northern Van Wert Counties to develop 300 megawatts (MW) of community-owned wind power projects in the area.

Norden is the newest full-time employee of National Wind, LLC, the manager and developer of Northwest Ohio Wind Energy, LLC. With 50 employees, National Wind is a leading developer of utility-scale, community wind projects and has approximately 4,000 MW of projects in development or operation across the Midwest and Plains states. National Wind has its main office in Minneapolis, MN. Norden joins field specialist Kelly Ellis at Northwest Ohio Wind Energy’s Grover Hill office.

Northwest Ohio Wind Energy and National Wind began development work in Paulding and Van Wert Counties in January 2009 and the project has been well received by local landowners. The field specialist team has made great progress securing acres towards the 30,000 acre goal needed to develop the Northwest Ohio Wind Energy’s planned 300 MW community-based wind energy project.

“With his background in sales and understanding of real estate contracts, Brad has the expertise to help Northwest Ohio Wind Energy continue to move forward in bringing community wind to Paulding and Van Wert Counties,” says Scott Hafner, senior project developer for Northwest Ohio Wind Energy. “His experience working with customers and managing projects are valuable assets, but his excitement and commitment toward renewable energy will also be instrumental in helping our continued progress in site control.”
