Who We Are

Minneapolis-based National Wind, LLC, is a leader in developing community wind projects. We develop utility-scale (50 megawatts or larger) wind farms enabling local property owners and investors to share in the economic benefits. Our portfolio consists of wind energy projects in operation or under development in Minnesota and several other states.

What is Community Wind?

Our vision is to revitalize rural economies by promoting investment in domestic renewable energy. Our local investors, and the landowners who benefit from the project through turbine leases or participation agreements, play a significant role in decision making and goal setting.

Each project has a local advisory board that meets with us regularly and keeps us apprised of local needs and concerns.
